i suggest each person
of a reasonable age
be alloted one bullet

cast.
by shooting the candidate
you desire least to lead

on the moring after election day,
we toss the least bullet-riddled body
into the various
appropriate houses of governance

and then we’ll get
essentially
the same results we have now
without having to pay
and feed those worthless
no-consequence uppity fuckers.

when we see the piles of bones on c-span
we can be reminded of the rewards of putting idiots into public service.
